My hands are a bit sore

It probably has something to do with going indoor climbing last night. about 20 years ago I used to climb a few times a week and trained seriously in the gym. I'd head up to the blue mountains with friends most weekends and spent most of my holidays looking for exciting vertical challenges. My life revolved around climbing, uni and dance clubs, but mostly climbing.
Over the years my strength to weight ratio has lost ground to my girth to weight ratio. My flexibility has been eroded by arthritis and probably most damaging - I no longer care how I look in my climbing tights.
Needless to say my lifestyle has changed over the years, I no longer keep in contact with my climbing buddies and no longer self identify as 'a climber'.
Last night for the first time in too many years I went climbing. I sucked. Sean and Andrew were very nice about it, but I sucked.
We are hoping to make this a regular occurrence, so the only way is up.

You lie...I saw you checking yourself and your tights out in a mirror.

Also you didn't completely suck, you just have to admit we aren't 21 anymore.

It's Friday and I can't open the milk because my hands are too sore.
And I wasn't looking at myself in the mirror, I was perving at the magnificent mammaries on the blond with the tight ass and the budbies barely contained by the tight white knitted top.

I couldn't do a pull up to save my life right now. Actually make that for the last 20 years. I'm the ultimate wimpy arm man...

That's because you don't drink. It is a well known fact that drinking makes your arms stronger.

I used to be a climber. Before I got pregnant I did the same, climbed 3-4 times a week. Bouldered almost every day. Went to the climbing gym... My brother has been in a couple climbing magazines. I met Lynn Hill (http://www.womenclimbing.com/climb/biodetail.asp?id=1) once while Climbing in Boulder Colorado.

Then I moved east (no rocks in site only moss covered hills) and got knocked up. Climbed at the gym once while pregnant. Sucked...

Climbed once since Esther was born. Sucked. I have atrophied...

I have high hopes for one day climbing religiously again. But as we all now know. Children steal your life. They are thieves. Cute and hilarious thieves but thieves nonetheless.
