Did I tell you I was about to take 22 weeks parental leave?

Yeah, I'm going to be a stay at home dad looking after Adrian every day and Annalise two days a week. Alex will be going back to work whilst I take 22 weeks from March 6 through until the beginning of Aug.
I will blog, less, but I may not read you as much as my 15 min morning coffee stop when I read you all could be hectic.

As I've said, Steve, congratulations! It will be great! as well as a whole lot of other things, but you'll tell us in your blog, won't you? (but I don't think you need to change the blog or start a new one...)

do you know what Analise thinks of your being home more?

I know what it's like to try to check in on blogs with a kid underfoot – I'm looking after baby Jamie this morning on my non-work day. Lots of interruptions, losing my train of thought, and wrangling the computer cords away from him. and then remembering that we're going to play together right after this! fun!

Do drop us a post and comments when you can. Or I'll miss one of my only regular readers/commenters!

Whoo-hoo! Ben stays home with Esther at least one day a week. He loves what he calls "Daddy-Daughter day."

He also works outside so if the weather is crappy he gets to stay home with her instead of the babysitter.

Stay-at-home dads are fan-freakin'-tastic.
