What condition does the red/yellow beach flag indicate?
So let me see if I have this straight, you've got the warm clear blue waters like we have in The Gulf, but you get the big waves along with it like we get on the Atlantic side? So you get the best of both worlds combined? And from what I hear it's better there than almost anywhere? Correct?
Yeah, somehow I've got to find the money to vacation there instead of Florida.
I’m interested to know what it would read if conditions were bad.
WooHoo!
Nothing but fun, fun, fun!
The sign cracks me up...In America it would have been vandalized to read:
Beach - Are you stoooopid? You are here. X
Person in charge - JAWS!
We are terribly juvenile...or maybe just me... :)
XL > Swim between the flags
Memphis > The water is cooler then the gulf, especially in winter but still fantastic. The waves depend on the beach and conditions but are generally bigger than the US east coast. There are lots of wild beaches too - not built out.
DCBC > I once saw one that read something like "warm in and out, take care: big swells, extreme UV, surfers: don't take off late". I don't know if you surf, but this is why you don't take off late
Sweet > How are the beaches in the potato state?
Yep, I need to move to Australia. Definitely.
Word Verification: dialises - hmm, what is Blogger trying to tell me?
